    au plug boot loop

    in Plugs

i have a new au plug, and trying to connect to esphome/hass.

The plug seems to be in a bootloop, and wont get an ip address... so cannot connect to it.

The led is red for 30 sec, and then goes blue for 30 sec. So, turns itself on and then off every 30 sec. Then loops...

Is there any failsafe mechanism for me to reset back to factory ?

    Any help is appreciated.

If I press the button for 30 sec, what is it supposed to do ?

    Many thanks

I guess I must have bricked it. Shame. Is there anywhere I can send it back to factory ?

It turns itself off/on every 30 sec. So something not right.

actually I did fix it... it was tricky. But since then I bricked another - sad. The trick to fixing for me... was to actually change my wifi infrastructure to match that of what was mistakenly configured on the device... Once I did that I was able to get a handle on it, to upload a revised firmware. Tricky stuff.
