Change ieee address on Zigbee Gateway?

I want to migrate from an existing USB zigbee adatper to the Athom gateway without re-pairing all of my devices. According to this article it possible if I copy over the ieee address from my existing adapter to the gateway. Any advice on how I might go about changing the ieee address on the Athom gateway running ESPHome?

Is it possible to upgrade the zigbee firmware over the network? Or does it need to be a serial connection?

In the web interface there is the option to toggle "Prep the cc2652p2 for firmware update", but when I try to flash the firmware with cc2538-bsl.py I get a timeout message "ERROR: Timeout waiting for ACK/NACK after 'Synch (0x55 0x55)'"

If I can get cc2538-bsl.py working I think I can change the ieee address using the ZigStar Multi Tool.

You need a serial flash tool, more documentation You need to open the shell switch to connect it directly to the zigbee module, the default is to connect it directly to the ESP32
